The title is Marvin Redpost class President. The author is Louis Sachar. At the beginning Marvin wrote notes for the president. During he was waiting for the president. At the ending he was glad he came. It was never about being class president.
I like it because it’s funny & a fantastic book.  Marvin is always serious but Nick jokes all the time & Stuart is like both of them.
Jackson would love this book he would die for it I would recommend this book to anybody. It’s not too short or long. There are some giant words but not a lot.

The book that I’m writing this report on that you are reading is The BFG by Roald Dahl. It’s about a girl named Sophia who sees a giant and is captured by him and Sophia doesn’t know what he’s going to do. So after the giant explains that he’s not going to eat her, a problem comes up. If you want to figure that problem out, you should read the book.
I read this book because I had to, but when I read it I saw how good it was. I liked this book because it had action and I felt like I was in the book. I’ve wished that something or someone would grab me and take me to another world. Sophia’s lucky for that.
I’d prefer this book to people who like long, adventurous, and action books. If you like fantasy books, you should read this one.

The book I read was among the hidden by Haddix.  They chop down the woods so they so they can build more houses. Then Luke sees a face in the window and goes to check it out and meets Jen. Jen tells Luke about the rally that’s going to happen in April. Luke doesn’t want to go so he stays home while Jen and the other illegal third children go to the rally. Jen and the other third children are all shot and killed. Luke goes back to Jen’s house and meets her dad Mr. Talbot. Luke has to go away from his family taking on the I.D of a dead kid named Lee Grant.
I loved this book! I love the characters. I love the part where Jen pins down Luke when they first meet.
I think someone who likes action and adventure with a little sad twist to it. So yes I would recommend it. You should check it out at your library now. I SAID NOW.

My book is about Bridge to Teribithia. My author is Katheran Patterson. Teribithia is about a girl that is named Leslie. She goes to a boy’s school named Jesse. Then they come home they, go to the woods, and make magical kingdom called Teribithia. One day there was a rain storm and Jesse was afraid to cross the river, because it was flooding! So Leslie crossed the river fell, fell in the water, and died!
I like this book because it has great imagination and wording. It also has so much excitement. What I like the most is the imagination. But that is most is the imagination. But that is my opinion. It also has great illustration.
People who have great imagination will like this book. It’s for all ages too! If it sounds like a great book to you, you should read it.

The book Hatchet was by Gary Paulsen. It all started with one word: Divorce. Brian Robeson, a 13 year old boy was flying on a bush plane to see his father in Canada. Suddenly the pilot has a heart attack. Brian finds himself lost in the Canadian woods with nothing but a hatchet his mother gave him. He has to face terrifying tornadoes, swarms of killer bugs, and much more. Will he ever get out?

I absolutely LOVE this book! There’s excitement, danger, and adventure. It’s also easy and has lots of emotion. That’s the recipe for a good book.
I say anyone could like this book. It doesn’t matter really what age. I think few people would hate it.

I am writing about the BFG by Roald Dahl. The book is about giants, there are nine giants the BFG is the only one that doesn’t eat humans. The BFG has a job his job is to give kids wonderful dreams. One night the BFG is puffing dreams but a little girl named Sophie sees him. After that the BFG kidnaps her he becomes good friends with her. The BFG trust Sophie so he shows her his dream shelves. The BFG and Sophie get tired of the eight other giants eating up humans, so they go to the queen of England and give her a dream about the giants, and the queen takes care of the giants.
I thought this book was tremendous because it was a fiction book and fiction books are better than nonfiction books. It was an awesome book but it would never happen. The BFG reminds me of my brother because he is nice.

I would recommend this book to my brother because he has been very interested in giants. My brother thinks giants are cool because they’re huge. Plus giants can be different kinds. That’s why my brother would like this book.

The book I am doing is Because of Winn – by Kate DiCamillo. The book is about a girl named India Opal. She had a momma but she left her at very young age. So she just had her dad,(preacher ). They moved from Whotley into a trailer park in a small town. When she went to a store called Win – Dixie she had met a dog and didn’t want the poor thing to go to the pound so she kept him. Sorry you have to read the rest to figure out all of the good parts!
Me, I am picky about my books. I didn’t like this book I LOVED it! I haven’t really related to any part of the book so I have nothing interesting to tell.
I think girls who like dogs and who like a little comedy will love it. I also have seen the movie a million times also. I hope they make more movies and books like this one!

My book is called Mouse & the Motorcycle.  The author is Beverly Cleary.  The book is about a family that comes to stay at a motel called Mountain View Inn.  A boy from the family that came in the house found a mouse hole.  He went over to it with some food and put it there in the hole. The boy and the mouse started to become friends.  The boy gets a toy motorcycle and lets the mouse ride it.
The people are also nice in the book. I also like motorcycles because their fast and awesome looking. I would recommend this book to my mom because I know how much my mom likes adventure. She also loves motorcycles.  She really thinks mice are quit.
I like this book because it’s not every day that you see a mouse riding on a motorcycle.  Another reason why I like this book is because it is an amazing.

My book is Playoff Dreams written by Fred Bowen. This book is about a boy named Brendan who is in love with Baseball and is the star player of the cubs the team he has played for, for three years but he has never made it to the playoffs, but this year he is determined to make it with support from his friends, his uncle, and parents he just might be able to do it. Do you want to find out, if so read the book.
I like this book because it ha s a very great story line plus it has a whole lot of twist and turns. You could also relate to how he feels. The descriptive words the book uses makes you want to read it more. And the way you expect it to go it doesn’t it’s pretty much a mystery.
I would recommend this book to Kolten because he is an athletic baseball fan who likes to read and is usually playing most of the game and plays to win.

The book I read was the Eagle shadow. The author was Nora martin.  Clarcy was looking out the window. She saw a man who looked like he was caring a jug of water but it was really a gas tank. Next  she saw the church go up in flames there was someone still in the church. By the time the fire was out every one went wondering who did it.

I like it because it had a lot of action. Some of it was sad though. There was a lot of confusion. It was a good book.
I thought it was a sad book. A person who likes sad books would like this book. I found it sad because the girl in the book lost her mother. I found that sad because I couldn’t grow up without my mom.

I read the book War Horse and the author’s name is Michael M. this story is about comes to buy instead buys a colt. This colt is just a normal little colt. And the man who bought the colt has a son named Albert and he later makes the colt a farm horse. And then Albert names the colt Joey. Then when Joey is working with Zoey (another work horse) the army comes along, and since Alberts’ dad needs money to keep the farm he lends the army Joey. But you’ll have to read the book to find out the rest.
I liked this book because you feel like you’re right there with Joey running, and walking in the war. This is a book of adventure, sadness, and real life. The book made me feel like at the end of the book. I feel like him because I’ve been away from someone too for a while.
I think people who like adventure, and horses will like this book. I hope you like the book. P.s. read “About the Author” it’s really interesting.

The Red Pyramid’s author is Rick Riordan. This book is about two kids named Sadie and Cater that don’t know that they have the blood of the powerful gods that lived long ago. Their mom died and they didn’t know how, and Carter’s dad travels around the world with his dad and gets to see Sadie once a year. Their dad wanted to do something nice for them the one day he could be with both of them so he took them to a museum.  Back when Carter and his dad were traveling together his dad was always fighting people. Carter didn’t even know why his dad went around the world. When something bad was going to happen his dad grabbed his work bag that he would never let Carter touch. Anyway at the museum they were looking at the exhibits and Carter’s dad grabbed his bag. Just then a bunch of karate people jumped out of nowhere and fought their dad and then locked him in a coffin that melted into the floor. Now Carter and Sadie have nowhere to go so they went to their uncle Amos’s house. When they were at his house they stayed there for two weeks and then Amos had to leave for something. Just after he left a bunch of half monkey half crocodile things came up to the house and started attacking. Then Sadie’s cat [Muffen] turned into a lady. She could fly so she put them on her back and flew away. She lead them to a place where gods could learn magic When they got there the leader of the place wanted them to take a test the next day and Carter asked what if you fail, the leader replied this is not a test you fail you either past or die. So Sadie wandered around the place all night and found out about everything, all the gods that ever lived AND they found out about this really powerful god named set that was a about to destroy the united states in three days. She told Carter her plans to destroy set with the powers in the power book that she looked in all night. Now it was the next day and they took the test and you will have to read the book to find out.
I liked the book because it was a very interesting book. Every page I read was more entertaining than a whole book. It never left me hanging, nor was it ever boring. So many things happen in the book and it was a very great book. I really liked the book because it was made up and it was a long book.
I think mostly anyone who likes to read would like this book. Except like first through third grade. Or if you like huge books or made up, magical books you would also like this book. I really loved this book and I would encourage anyone to read this great book. I hope you will really like the book if you read it.

Jack and Annie are exploring all over the world and they were going to figure out a mystery. So they can find the book keeper. But before they get the (m) they run into Native American. Then they ask them were to go and they led them to a cave in the rocks. Jack and Annie go back in the cave and found where to go. On the way out they meet a man and he gave them a jacket.
I like this book because it has cave men in the book. I dislike it because it has some boring word in it. It was really snowy, ice, and cold. A wollymamuth took them back to their tree house.
Kolten would like this book because it has a lot of imagination in it. Kolten would dislike it because it is a little book. This is a good book to read.

This book is about an owl called Soren who gets pushed out of his nest by Kuld his brother.  He gets snatched in minutes by St. Aegolius patrol owls.  He makes a friend called Gyfie on the way to the canyons.  They resisted getting moon blinked that would mess up their brains.  A good patrol owl teaches them to fly but they get discovered when they were going to escape.  You will just have to read the Guardians of Ga’Hoole the Capture.  The author is Kathryn Lasky.
I personally loved this book.  You wouldn’t even think they would get discovered.  There was so much action towards the end.  It was so easy to comprehend.  It’s the first of the series.  That is why I liked it.
I would think 4-6 graders would like it.  Someone who like entertaining stories and people who like owls as well.
